Q. Where can I find historical stock prices?

You can obtain historical stock price data by searching the WRDS database and the Bloomberg terminals available in the Martin B. Greenberg Trading Room at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.  Access is restricted.  Please see this webpage for further details on access and hours: https://www.hofstra.edu/business/finance/trading-room/

You may also obtain up to 10 years of stock information in the Factiva database.  To access this database, go to the library homepage, https://libguides.hofstra.edu/libraryhome, click on the Databases A-Z tab, click on F and find Factiva on the list.
Once in Factiva, click on the Companies/Markets tab on the top of the screen, select Ticker Symbol under Smart Search, type in your ticker symbol, and click Go.

On the Company Snap Shot Overview, click on Quote by the Stock Price Activity chart.  Search options will appear on the left.  Under Historical Quote you can select the frequency (Daily, Weekly, etc.) and go as far back as 10 years.  Make your selections and click Get Quote.
