Google Scholar (scholar.google.com) does provide citation information. Using the Advanced Search option, the name of the author can be searched. The results of a Google Scholar search contain scholarly and non-scholarly links, including links to conference papers, presentations and other types of media.
Selected subscription databases available through the Research Databases link on the Library Homepage (www.hofstra.edu/library) also enable you to conduct citation searches. However, the results of these searches are limited to the sources in each database and are not comprehensive. Hofstra University's Library does not subscribe to Web of Science (ISI) due to budgetary constraints. For further information about this service, please contact Carol.Simon@hofstra.edu .
