Q. How can I tell how many years a certain journal covers?

To determine the dates of coverage for a particular journal, use the JOURNAL tab found on the top left side, under the image, of the Hofstra library homepage. 

Type in the name of the journal you are interested in (or newspaper or magazine).

If HUL subscribes to the journal, you will see a listing of electronic databases and the years of coverage.  If we subscribe to the journal in print, you will see the dates of the print holdings as well. 

To get to the electronic issues of the journal, click on the link to the database that lists the dates of coverage you need.
