Q. How do I find textbooks for my courses?

Hofstra University Library purchases textbooks for some, but not for all, classes.

To find out if one has been purchased for your course search in the online catalog located here: https://hofstra.on.worldcat.org/advancedsearch

If your professor has put textbooks on reserve for your course:

Use the Hofstra portal to access Blackboard

Click into your course

Select the Course Reserves tool link on the course menu.
