To find out where in the legislative process a particular bill is, use the research database Congressional Publications. Please go to the Library homepage at www.Hofstra.edu/Library > Databases by subject. You may be prompted for your username and password. You can access databases either by subject area or alphabetically by name of database (Congressional Publications).
To access bill tracking reports, use the Bills by Number Form and enter the bill number, public law number or statute number.
If you are not a member of the Hofstra Community, please contact Georgina Martorella, the Depository Coordinator for assistance with government information.
Another suggestion is a resource provided by the Library of Congress--Congress.gov. You can search for a summary of your bill as well as the status in the legislative process. Use the Bill Searches and Lists feature.
