Q. How can I find a legislative history for a particular law?

The Congressional Publications database is one of the best sources used to locate legislative histories.

Find it here: http://ezproxy.hofstra.edu/login?url=https://proquest.com/congressional?accountid=11449.

Once in the database, go to the ADVANCED search screen and limit your results to LEGISLATIVE HISTORIES. You can search by keyword.  For help with searching, click on the question mark in the top right corner of the screen.
