When Hofstra borrows materials from another library, we have an obligation to that library to return material promptly and in good condition. Our ability to borrow from that library in the future hinges upon our responsible use of loaned materials.

ILL items lost or not returned when recalled will be automatically charged a replacement fee of $100 or the actual replacement cost billed to us by the lending library, whichever is higher.

Pay at the Axinn Library Circulation Desk, or by mail.

Checks for overdue fines can be sent to the following address:

Joan and Donald E. Axinn Library; Circulation Desk, Attn: Jessica; 123 Hofstra University; Hempstead, NY 11549-1230

Please include your 700 number and indicate "interlibrary loan overdue fees" in the check's memo line.
