Axinn Library has over 25 study rooms for student use. There are several options for gaining access.

Rooms on the 2nd floor (4 rooms) and ground floor (3 rooms) can be booked in advance using the libcal software (libcal.hofstra.edu) or there is a QR code on the door of each room that students can scan with their smart phone, which brings up scheduling software. These rooms are open to all students and unlocked and completely self-scheduled with no intervention from library staff. Each student can book up to 3 hours per day.

The study rooms in the stacks area available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students should come to the Circulation Desk (Main floor of Axinn Library) to check out a key. Two Hofstra University IDs are required per room. These rooms are checked out for 3 hour; renewable if there is not a waiting list.
