The Anthropology Libguide , which can be found under Guides & Tutorials on the University Library homepage, contains a tab on sources on ethnographies. There are some open-access sources given there and tips on how to search the Hofstra University online catalog. The guide also contains a list of databases which are the most useful for anthropologists. Of these AnthroSource is may contain ethnographic and ethnological information. JSTOR also contains anthropological journals sometimes extending into the 19th century which may contain ethnographic and ethnological materials. Both can be accessed directly from the library homepage. Please go to the Library homepage at www.Hofstra.edu/Library  >  Databases by Subject.  You may be prompted for your username and password.  You can access databases either by subject area or alphabetically by name of database.
