To access electronic research databases that Hofstra University subscribes to please go to the Library homepage at www.Hofstra.edu/Library.  Click in the blue bar DATABASES BY SUBJECT.  You may be prompted for your username and password.  You can access databases either by subject area or alphabetically by name of database.

You might also want to try using OneSearch.  OneSearch will allow you to search across most of our resources (the Library catalog, and most of our research databases) in one search.  Click in to the OneSearch blue bar and simply type your search terms (your topic or subject area) into the box and click search.  You will most likely get many results.  You can narrow down your results by using the limiters on the left side of the screen.  For example, you can limit to peer-reviewed articles only or by other resource types (books, eBooks, academic journals, newspapers, etc).
