There are several finding tools available that will help you search for U.S. federal government information online.  To locate these finding tools, use the Government Information Guide (also accessible from the Hofstra Library homepage--click on Guides and Tutorials > Subject Research Guides > Government Documents > Government Information Guide).  Once in the guide, click on the blue tab labeled "Catalogs and Finding Aids."    You can use some federal government resources such as govinfo.gov and the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications that are both listed and linked on that page (center box).  You will see additional finding tools listed and linked as well.

Please note that government documents that have been selected for Hofstra can also be located via the Hofstra Library catalog.  There is also a link to the catalog on the guide.
